IMHO marrying a life long bachelor would be extremely difficult. I have been married 110 years and I'm still working on my other half, cannot imagine what it would be like to marry someone who has never ever had to consider another person.

By the way, I wish them much happiness.
Never been married but had lived with a woman for about nine months while she was attending the University of Minnesota Law School as a 3rd year. I had graduated the year before she did from the U of MN Law School. She had been one of my students while I was a Student Director in the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners clinic. Even with separate bedrooms that was a bit difficult. They are going to have to really love one another IMHO. I have been something of a lifelong Bachelor since Jennifer graduated from law school and went on her own way. I suppose I would have a hard time living with a woman now unless she were incredibly special.
