We took it by your tone and comments as no way we want to waste our time on a bid that you felt would be way over our budget. That is your prerogative. We even commented on that is ok if you are way too high. Thank you for your time. You were ready to leave but your wife said lets take some measurements anyway. We went in for a minute and when we came out you were gone. No .. goodbye, thank you but no thanks, and you didn't take any measurements. Thus how would you have supplied a bid? The other four bids were within or very close to our budget and took the time to listen and make suggestions.
Looking at your work we saw no reason not to like what your business puts in for landscape. It appears to be very well done. Obviously that is why we asked for your bid. We can not comment on any other part of your business.
We wish you well and only replied on what we experienced. The other four, although very busy, took the time to explain things, and did not come across the same way, plus provided a bid. Again, we are not here for a debate, just what we perceived.

You perceived correctly.....and sounds like you are pleased with your choice. That's what we all hope for.
