Don't have a solution, but, I have noticed the same thing. When GE microwave is running old wifi Acer Netbook and now iPad wifi get very sluggish accessing the Internet. As soon as MW stops, speed returns to normal. Some type of interference no doubt. I tried at one time fiddling with router settings and channels but never solved it. Just don't cook and surf at the same time :-)
Me... Comcast, Dlink docsis 3.0 modem, and Dlink 655n series router.
Will be interesting if anyone has found a fix...
