I agree, most restaurants need to cut their entertainment out one or two nights a week or add sound proofing to provide a quiet spot. Entertainment IMHO is a waist of profits. It doesn't draw most dining customers in, it drives them away.

It may not draw dining customers but it does draw drinkers and keeps them entertained. Most restaurants make a lot of money from the bar service. That said, I also like quiet dining.
