Excels in the Ryder Cup but otherwise it's been a disappointment at least in his mind and his goals. But I like both players.
And to the posters who call Tiger a LIAR: Please look up all the PGA players who have been married, cheated on their spouse, got divorced and then remarried a trophy wife. It happens so much that many players have a name for the not so glamerous wives, they call them "First wife". Crude? Yes. Reality? Yes.

I think that one of Sergio's problems is that in his early years he didn't care that much about golf. He wanted to party and live the good life. I know people that knew him personally and have been to his house in Spain. He and his father would go out every night. Sergio was usually in the company of a different woman, (or women) every night. They liked to drink expensive bottles of wine and generally have a good time. He was fond of saying at that time that golf wasn't the only thing in his life and that he wanted to have a more balanced life and enjoy things more.
I'm not saying that there was anything wrong with that attitude. The only problem with it is that a few years down the road when you are not considered one of the greatest ever to have played the game and you are desperately trying to create a legacy for yourself, you have no on to blame but yourself.
I'm not judging Sergio for his choices, but it seems that now that he's seeing the results of those choices he's not liking it so much. For some reason, he's now come the conclusion that he wants to be considered one of the greatest ever, when that wasn't a concern ten years ago.
maybe it had to do with having so much success at such a young age, but he's going to have to live with it for the rest of his life.
I'm not saying that Sergio is a bad guy. In fact I like Sergio very much. But, he does have what appears to be a bit of a character flaw in that he seems reluctant, at times, to take responsibility for his own actions. He is often putting the blame for his failures elsewhere. He always has some kind of excuse. He complains a lot and likes to play the victim.
