Maybe I'm the exception to the rule, but, this independence is invigorating to me. It could be that it changes over time, but, I can't imagine going back to always doing for my husband before myself. It's my turn and I think I deserve it.

I have had my independence for almost twenty years now and while I certainly enjoy its many benefits I have reached the point where I would really like to have a life partner - the right one that is. Being stuck with the wrong one is far worse than no partner at all!
