I was trying to call 911 but the bees started after me. Thank god a police car just happened to be driving by and I screamed for help. By that time I had gotten stung in the head. Someone else did stop and got the eppi pen for the woman who was allergic and the cop was helping the other women (meter reader?) get the bees out of her long hair. This was about 11am. My neighbor and I decided to leave since help was on the way. I hope that woman is ok. That area on my head was extremely painful. I can't imagine with several stings. I took an antihistamine and tylenol and laid down for a bit. What a way to end a morning on the course!!!!
I am so sorry to hear this. I hope your sting gets better soon. I know how bad they can be. I am glad you helped these young women and that the police were nearby and that you took the time to explain what happened.

I am pretty close to afraid of bees, wasps, hornets and stinging bugs as I imagine most people are. Had a bunch of them sting me a couple years ago and that could be deadly for some. I am glad to read that a man in a beekeeper garb was on the scene and was attending to the situation.

This might be the time of year to watch out for bees and to call Deans or Massey or whoever you have for insect protection of you see them on your property.

I hope it has been handled and that everyone is safe from that bunch anyway.
