Default No terms with sentencing
If the verdict comes back manslaughter, in which case this is the lessor charge, the jury doesn't know the hefty sentence that goes with it. I think the jurors should know what the sentence could be with each verdict. They may think they will give him a lessor sentence when in fact the punishment is about the same for manslaughter and murder 2. If in fact he is found guilty, I think either sentence is way too much of a punishment. Maybe 3 years in prison with parole afterwords? I think he is not guilty, so he should be able to continue with his life.....such that it will be. I think he has been punished enough.
