WE just ate there last week to celebrate Jenny's promotion. The food was OK. I didn't like the appetizers very much. Jenny loves crab rangoon and it was not very good.Over cooked or something. The batter was very hard. Same with the fried wonton, egg rolls and spring rolls. All were a dark brown color, not the light tan I expect to see in that type of food.
The pad thai was not bad. I've had a lot better and the stir fried pork dish was just ok as well.
It was almost empty when we went and the service was very good. The people were smiling and the food came out in a reasonable time. They came back and refilled our water several times.
I did have to wave at the waiter to come and pick up my credit card after he dropped off the check. I'll never understand why they wait so long to come back for certain things. He left the check, I pulled my credit card out of my wallet and stuck it in the little folder. He was then engrossed in a conversation with one of the female employees. He was facing me, but when I signaled him he didn't seem to see me. I waved again several times. Finally I half stood up and waved my arms and he saw me. It was a small thing and overall I'd say the the food and the experience were OK. Better than most in the Villages where I find the food to be not very good and the service very slow.
