I love to save money on groceries but there is no use losing the stuff you get in the back of the danged pantry shelf.
Sometimes I shop at Publix and don't pay attention to the prices. Sometimes Helene gets to me before I go out the door and puts a big wad of coupons in my hand and sometimes I use them. Sometimes I go to Walmart to stock up on staples and other bargains. Sometimes I go to Sweetbay. I hardly ever go to Fresh Market, too rich for my blood plus I can still cook fairly well and other than the ready made entrees that I can do myself, I don't see much that I am inclined to buy there.

ALL POSTS have "some other script or agenda". In one way or another, we are all trying to prove something. Here's an idea that Warren might be able to use: Warren, tell the manager that you can't use two jars because it's too much and ask if he will allow you to buy one jar for $2.99 You might be surprised to find that you can get permission to do that.
Every year, Publix offers "California Fresh Figs" at "buy 1 get 1 free". Save up to $5.99 (16oz. pkg.) I called the store and talked to the manager, telling him that it was too many figs and I couldn't use that many. He said, "come in and pick out one container and bring it to the service desk and I will approve it for sale at $2.99".
Will it work with a different product at another store? I don't know, but it's worth a try. Good luck.
