Look to see if you have a small door on the front of your washer near the floor. When our new front load LG W/D was delivered, the delivery man (from Lowes) said the hose, which is inside that door, should be drained every month or so. When you pull the hose it, it also has a filter on it that should be cleaned. When I drain this hose, of course, water comes out of it. Maybe your filter is clogged and that is causing the leaking? I have no idea, but this popped into my mind when I read your post. I'd be curious if this works.
