My kids roll their eyes at me just like I did my mother....well maybe not so much now that they are almost 40 years old...LOL My daughter actually suggested I have my hearing checked because I said I couldn't understand the words of a song on the radio!!

Oh not sure about us not making an impact. Us Seniors do frequent the movies often. After all, we do have more time and money since our working yrs are behind us. We can make an impact starting with our own children and yes I know what you mean they don't listen. However warning our kids so they can at least beware for our grandchildren would be the right and wise thing to do. Or at least sit with our grandchildren and talk directly to them. We can make a big impact on society. Don't be so willing to throw us under the bus. I have a feeling the movie will "flop" anyway.
