I read a Stephen Hunter book called
Soft Target about a year ago about a sniper caught in an attack in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. This attack was at the hands of an American using Somalian immigrants to do his violence while he took care of the computer software and the like in the Mall.
Eerie to have a novel reflect real life in such a way.
