But I would love to have access to an indoor pool.

We are sold on the Villages, but I have wondered again and again about the lack of shade at the pools and with skin cancer so prevalent in FL, I must say I am surprised that TV does not have several indoor pools.

To me it is a no brainer, but the Morse family must think differently.

But could we get some real shade at some of the pools? The Pergola roof shade areas are not any protection from the sun at all.
Good points. If we had some shade covers erected at the sport pools, so you could finish a lap and be in the shade instead of out in the broiling sun, it would make a huge difference. I know many people with skin cancer that are trying to swim first thing in the morning before the sun is bright. Fine in the summer, but with temps in the 30's in the winter, not as easy to do. And in the summer the water temperatures in the sport pools have averaged in the low 90's. It is just awful to swim in hot bath water like that. Very tough to get an aerobic workout. That is when i think an indoor pool with a regulated temperature in the low to mid 80's would be wonderful.
