Would you pay to use an indoor pool

Just wondering.. there are a few fitness places that could go close to campus that could build a fitness center with an indoor pool and separate swim lanes...open 24/7 with state of the art fitness classes and machines...Would you pay $60 a month for a single or $110 for a couple...I just got a mailing from a fitness center..if i were a frog i think i would pay the $110 for the use of a pool year round but not sure if its in everyones budget...I know you can vacation your membership but not clear on the vacation cost....No this is not a business i have investment in just wondering if my budget will allow the cost...and if others have wondered the same thing

This is a good question, and I think I would, if it were less crowded and the walking folks wouldn't keep me from lap swimming.

Could you set it up as a poll, Asian three?

Nope!

billethkid 09-26-2013 08:55 AM

NO!

cmfjr 09-26-2013 09:18 AM

NO. I really enjoy the outdoors and use the pools all 12 months.

TicoTexan 09-26-2013 09:25 AM

No ... Since the "free" pools are heated, there are very few days when an indoor pool would be useful.

ilovetv 09-26-2013 09:57 AM

Yes. I'd pay to use one.

The question was whether people would pay for an indoor pool apart from TV amenities, not to assert that TV residents don't need one.

Yes that is the question - I've said it too many times on this subject but many people WANT an indoor pool (or ten) but they want it within the current amenities fees.

If it were a money maker then someone (private enterprise) would build one. I don't think it will happen but....

I would pay to use one!! I'm sure they'd have to have it regulated on "useages" like they do the Sports Pools. I for one would like to see some in-door heated pools for folks with arthritis and other issues---that would have appropriate exercises. I guess I'm thinking therapy exercises that are less stressful on the body. I've tried the aqua exercises before and just can't do them---plus they're way too crowded for me.

Nope

I would not pay to use an indoor pool. An indicator would be to calculate what % of residents buy the pool package that is offered with Priority Membership? I know they are not indoor pools but it would indices of willingness to pay above the amenity fee

Since I do not use any of the pools I would do a trade off signed agreement never to use any pool in TV for a discount on my amenity fees. Ok no rants I understand the program being all or nothing but I can vent if I chose to its called free speech and since my wife has all these honey do's I have a burr under my saddle. That is cowboy talk for I am not happy.

110 is quite high, I pay $75 in NJ for pool and fitness. Would not pay more down here.

Bogie Shooter 09-26-2013 11:55 AM

No.

What Bogie Shooter said.
