I like having a place up north. Not just to escape the heat and humidity. Yes it can get hot and humid up north for 2 or 3 weeks. But not 90-95 from April - September. It is great to putz around in the garden and yard, but leave when it gets chilly in late October. Produce grown up here such as tomatoes have much more flavor than what is grown in FL. I guess it is the soil.
Today it was a beautiful 79, sunny, with low humidity. The trees are just starting to change color. Just drove back north the past 2 days.
