We often head down a certain cart path near our home. To get tho the path you drive on some of the neighborhood streets, out a gate onto another street and then you can either stay left on the street with your car or bear right to go onto the cart path. We use the cart as much as possible here and there have been a few times when I was in my car and I began to bear right and caught myself in time
There there was the time I was at Publix in Spanish Spirings. To get there by golf cart, which we do most of the time, we have to use the golf cart bridge. To go by ca, we come in from the opposite end of the shopping plaza. One day, in my car, I left Publix went north Paige St, turned left at the sign, and didn't realize what I was doing until I had the golf cart bridge entrance in front of me.
I will say, in my defense however that I never actually drove on a cart path with my car. I've only come close a few times.
I can imagine the guy in that mini van when light dawns on Marblehead. "Ummm..this can't be right. How did I get in here? More important, how the hell do I get out? Well, maybe I should turn around. Oh wait..... damn, I didn't meant to drive into the bushes. Why don't they make these things wider so you can turn around? Why's that guy taking pictures of me?" etc. etc.
