You may want to be aware that in a number of cases Owen's Corning is denying labor for replacing defective roofs. They will offer to pay for replacement of shingles but the labor is on you. The labor can and is usually much more expensive than the shingles. The net is they provide bad shingles which must be replaced and then expect the customer to pay the majority of the costs for the defective roofs. I believe the POA is looking into this as a pretty bad problem for some residents and may provide support. We should all be real thankful for their [POA] being apart of the Villages.
