Now I have seen people talk about Comcast making them get a new Modem/router because their old one was not compatible. Anyone know what market modem/routers are compatible and steps to setup?
Thanks for any help

I returned my Comcast modem, they are cheap and fail. There are no compatibility problems using your own modem.
I got a top of the line Motorola SURFboard modem, typically used for gaming, real fast, have had it not for 4 years.
