I won't have anything special on Christmas Eve. And I doubt I will have anything all that special on Christmas Day. I'm not a big believer in celebrating holidays with food. I think I might have had lentil soup last year. Of course, I just happen to like lentil soup and I put a lot of mushrooms and other goodies in it..

I ended up going to Golden Corral on the day before Thanksgiving and I had some white meat turkey. Normally, I'm a vegan but I made an exception. When I got there they had a whole turkey that was being carved, so I was lucky. I got a good portion and it was moist; it didn't need any gravy. It couldn't have been better. (After that they didn't bring out any more whole turkeys.)

But for Christmas Day I'll be back to veganism.
