I put up with excruciating hip pain for about 18 months before going to the Orthopaedic Institute (the spelling is correct) in Ocala (Dr. Paul J. Rucinski). I feared I'd need an artificial hip. As it turned out I had an inflamed bursa (bursitis). One injection made it 80 to 90 percent better. A month later a second injection took care of the last 10 to 20 percent. How foolish I was to keep putting off getting the help that I needed. I've been pain free for about 14 months now.
