Having lived in Florida for 23 years before moving UP here (haha...not the norm), we were well aware of the water issues in Florida. It cost us $3700, more than a few holes in our walls and water pipes in the attic (can you say HOT???). Our water not only tasted bad, it rotted the pipes, gunked up our washer, and I had to replace the water filter in the fridge like crazy. My husband immediately complained about the water taste when we got here, so we got a Pegasus water system and couldn't be happier. My silverware looks clean again, as do my dishes...I don't need fabric softener (another washer gunker-upper), my skin is not dry, on and on and on. Again...MY opinion. I just heard from a neighbor, tho, that this system is being bashed by some (THEIR opinion...I get it) in an effort to sell theirs. I don't like that. Pegasus never bashed anyone, just SOLD us on theirs. Besides, 2 of the new country clubs, Bonifay and Evans Prairie, I believe have this system installed. I'm just saying beware and make your own decisions, whatever they may be.
