Then there manager took a chance, changed there wardrobe, flew them to America and the rest is history. They really aren't that good...Lennon/McCartney ..yes they are only OK, as for the other two No Way. As an example ( Only ) Mick Fleetwood vs Ringo Starr. I rest my case.
The Beatles filled a void and their timing was spot on mainly because of there Act and Appearance. They had original recordings certainly, but re-recorded a slew of already hit songs. 8 hrs. ...44 min...42 sec. TOTAL

Listen to them again and see if you might have "missed" anything.
BTW, Fleetwood Mac is certainly one of the greatest bands ever and Mick Fleetwood is a
monster player but he's no Ringo. Creative band chemistry is at the heart of the Beatles' success. If Ringo and Mick had traded places, every tune would have been completely different. it's likely that neither band would have made the same impression on the world.
I'm thankful we had them both!
