The use of a golf cart on teh streets or multimodal paths here in TV is quite unique and most insurance comapnies donot understand it. Most use the Village Insurance and they can get you a policy in the $70-90 range or cheaper depending upon what you add to it.

One caveat...if you want Umbrella Insurance with USAA, you can only get it with USAA if all policies are written by USAA OR an affliated company. With reagrd to golf cart policies, my policy was underwritten by Foremost using The VIllages Insurance Company. When I was looking into Umbrella coverage, USAA has an agreement with Foremost and the policy had to meet their underwriting requirments and now shows up on my USAA account...but it is still a Foremost policy.
I had the same problem obtaining an Umbrella policy through USAA. I thought it strange since they wouldn't write a Homeowners policy in Florida. I went with Foremost for the cart insurance.
