Like you, I preferred the middle/late sixties with everyone you mentioned plus the Rascals, Blood Sweat & Tears, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, the Blues Project, Vanilla Fudge, Simon & Garfunkel, Righteous Brothers, etc. I still have fond memories of both the fifties - when I wasn't yet a teenager but still captivated by the music - and early sixties since so many of the songs are tied to great high school memories and friends.
