Moving on.........
I believe he first came to TV by joining the Villa Medical Group. I attended one of his lectures that was the kick-off of his practice there. I later got the word that he didn't last long and had moved on.
He came from a research background and had very strong opinions about using particular medications. He went so far as to say that if he had a patient whose cardiologist didn't agree with him regarding medications, he would fire the cardiologist.
That's when I decided he couldn't be my primary care physician. No one fires my cardiologist.
I was also told that he didn't have a good bedside manner, which I'm sure would cause many patients to chose another physician.
