In most cases Huper Optik window film is applied in the same manner as traditional window tints, to the interior side of the glass. There are some rare cases where film needs to be applied to the exterior of the window, such as when the interior side of the window is textured. They have specialized films that are compatible and can give significant performance upgrades to single pane, dual pane, and even dual pane low-E glass because of their cutting edge technology and comprehensive understanding of glass and film interaction.
