A couple of days ago my Internet failed for the first time in the last few years. I called Comcast and they said they could restart it and would I like to upgrade the speed for about $7.00 I said OK. The next thing I saw was a notification in my eMail advising me of the change in my Internet and the bill would be $89. I called them and said (a) I own my router and the $8.00 was wrong, (b) the $20 for some crazy TV service change was wrong since I don't have their TV and (c) another 1.50 which was not even defined. The net was they took the approximate $30 over charge off the bill and to disregard the bill. It is hard to determine if these are intentional deceptional overcharges or an attempt to "get one over" on the customer? I honestly do not trust them and they did not get to the 2nd worst Co. without reason. As an aside, I changed to Direct TV and really like them and the picture is twice that of Comcast. It is painful to try to find the channels we use to have and are now there but different. That is a small problem given how happy we are with Direct TV. Also, saw all the football games I wanted which was great.

I fully believe everything Comcast does is with intent.
