I went to pick up the mail on 10/15/2014 with my dog Beau about 5:30 PM and the owner of Obi Wan pointed out that someone must have left a Citizens First Bank card in the ATM. The card was just sitting on the ledge under the monitors and such. We looked at it to see if we recognized the name. Neither of us did.
I went about my business but thought I should not just leave this card there.
I brought it home and discussed what to do with in with my Dad. He phoned the number I got from the Villages 2015 Phonebook. The man who answered said that BK had not lived there for three years and he was very tired of all these calls they got for BK.
My Dad called Directory Assistance who also had that number but figured out BK must not have a land line. They did say he lived in Lady Lake but had no phone.
So, I put the Citizens First Bank card in an envelope, sealed it, put just "Found at ATM on 10/15/2014" on it and dropped it into the misplaced mail slot at Lynnhaven postal station about 7:00 PM on 10/15/2014.
I just wanted to make a little record of this. Hope BK gets his card back. I am assuming that the Postal Station people will contact the guy who handles the ATM who can contact the proper bank people about lost Citizen First Bank cards or maybe BK will retrace his journey and talk to the Postal people about this lost card.
