I really, truly didn't mean anyone specific. I just really don't understand the need to publicly correct. I was taught that if something was amiss and easily correctable, you told the person quietly and privately. To correct where it might cause embarrassment was rude and unkind. So, whether telling someone their fly is open loudly around other people or correcting someone's grammar, spelling or wording here in public is just plain rude and arrogant IMO.
