you're assigning blame when there is no animosity intended.

I'm always amazed that some people assume the worst in others...there is no way to tell how it is intended unless they specifically say they're trying to be superior or condescending. Perhaps you could read a correction and "assume" they are doing it for the right reasons...I'm sure if you tried you'd find that not everyone who corrects someone else is trying to be superior...
