Actually there were several Church Bibles that were used in the writing of the King James version, including the Latin Vulgate, The Bishop's bible, and several German translations (which were translations of earlier Bibles).
My point was that the King James Bible was a Re-Write of several earlier Bibles and not a new translation of the original manuscripts. I stand by what i said. I'll trust a Bible which was taken from the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic.
And NO i don't believe the world is only 6000 years old. But then, I don't believe it's 4.5 Billion years old either. Like many things, i think the answer lies somewhere in-between.
