Of course, if it is legal, there is nothing stopping you from doing so. However, do think about the unintended consequence if you did use the weapon. Massive legal expenses even if you were in the right. And if you were judged to be in the wrong ... you would not even want to think about that.

Like MikeV said, you just can't argue (reason) with anti-gun (anti-2nd amendment) people. Sandtrap seems to assume that concealed weapon carriers don't have a need to carry and have not thought seriously enough about all the consequences of carrying. Anyone that has ever been in a life threatening situation as a victim, fully understands why it's important for them and what can happen, both good and bad.
Florida is one of the most crime oriented states I have seen, around or in any of the major cities. The Villages is a pretty safe place, we all know that.
For those that feel the need to have a concealed weapon, I fully support their rights. And I hope they never have the need to use it as it is a life changing event. But it's always good to still be alive and your family safe.
The Lady that was arrested for having the Stun Gun, has a legitimate need based on her personal history. She chose to carry a device that would incapacitate a perpetrator rather than kill him/her.
