I overheard a guy at the pickleball courts yesterday saying his Yamaha cart can do 42 mph as verified by his GPS. These vehicles have brakes designed to slow carts running 12mph. Maybe the new engine braking systems can stop them a few feet sooner. I don't know about that. A golf cart running between 30-40mph also screws up the perspective of autos turning right across the golf cart lanes since they close the distance much faster than expected.

Are LSVs required to have a better braking system than standard golf carts?
