Really don't think this was done by the U.S. Government. We have much more to lose than Korea in a hacking war. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was done by American hackers.
Either way, I'm glad it happened but I am concerned about potential repercussions. North Korea shuts down its power all the time. Imagine if power were shut down to just one major U.S. city for the day -- an inconvenience for most people, a disaster for small businesses, a catastrophe for big business and the stock market. Sadly, they really can hurt us far more than we can hurt them in the cyber world.
