Yes, and he reports to Mom and Dad to get people on the naughty list here.

That's because the dealers in TV take advantage of local residents, in every way they can.

ClubCar is far superior to Yamaha. Call 10 golf course PGA Professionals and they'll all tell you the exact same thing. Hardly any private golf course in America, opts for the Yamaha option.

That isn't really accurate. it depends on how the companies market to golf clubs. Club Car is more active in the fleet business while Yamaha is more direct marketing to individuals. Also, depending on the type of cart, being gas or electric, Yamaha has advantage in performance , lower sound and greater range in their Quietech 2 gas carts, while Club Car has more history and performance in the electric cart.

One of the problems with purchasing the Club Car for use in The Villages is that once you go to sell it you will find that the purchase of that Club Car was a very poor value.

DO NOT buy from The Villages as their prices are thousands more - go outside the bubble!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Yamaha carts always have the reliable time tested engines that they build themselves. Club Cars uses third party built engines and changes manufacturers over time (Kawasaki, Subaru, Kohler). Our 2015 Club Car Precedent has a Subaru engine, which has been reliable for us and is more powerful than our Yamaha, but it’s also significantly louder and gets lower MPG. The engines aside, our Club Car has had multiple issues requiring repair while our Yamaha, which has 250% more miles on it, has been totally trouble free.

I suspect what we'll see in the next 5 years, is a requirement that golf carts are "registered" and TV will stop registering "new" gasoline carts.

That would help lower the noise of the gas golf cars passing while people are outside in their front yard, working or just sitting. I find that when I am outside listening to the radio, that when a golf car goes by they are often so loud that they drowned out the radio. I find that about 3 out of 10 golf cars going by are louder than the others and they are going about 30 MPH in a 10 MPH residential zone. So, I conclude that those 30% have "jacked up" their throttle control. I find it strange that in a retirement community that a MAX 20 MPH limit is NOT enforced. It reminds me of the NY broken window theory of Policing. If people can break the speed limit REGULARLY, then will they break other laws. And do they ever endanger older pedestrians out for a refreshing walk. There are rules about what color you can paint your house, but NO enforcement of neighborhood speed limits by Golf car, automobile, or truck..........GO FIGURE ???????

Not necessarily. I was in the golf business for many years, so I trust myself. In this case, AI agrees.

It’s the same when drinking a cheap beer. It’s all good until you then drink a real beer.

I've driven both. The Genesis compares quite well to the Lexus...

Plus, It's cheaper...

Ever think you're annoying your neighbors by playing your radio outside all the time?

Does your neighbor enjoy your radio? If not you might want to tone it down.

I guess you missed the last 10 years of police bashing by prosecutors, media, so called celebrities, and certain politicians. Broken windows and stop and frisk is dead.

I would like to know how you determined that 3 out of 10 carts are doing 30mph. I can honestly say in my daily driving through the villages for the last 5 years that I have never come across one cart that I estimate was doing 30 mph. Do you own a personal speed gun?
