I don't need a DNA test for my dog. I know his family tree. It's out back near the rose bush.

I would think that most great, responsible dog owners like yourself...would feel the same.

Just curious . . . what do you think of this comment?

I think we need another boring dog poop thread like we need another roundabout thread! :ohdear:

Speaking of which, I think I saw this sign when entering... one of the new roundabouts down south.

Just a Prejudiced Opinion -- Nothing More.

You are so wrong and soooo off base with your percentage, it isn't even funny.
You obviously do not own a dog which indicates how wrong you really are. You haven't a clue.

MOST people DO pick up after their dog.
If those who don't are in a public situation, trust me . . . someone is going to tell them to pick it up!

Your opinion is very sad and that's what it is -- an "opinion" which is based on nothing factual.

You are both correct!

I am a believer that most of the negative and hateful comments from posters are from people who don't have any experience with what their comments say or reflect, and on top of that, they are magnified to grandiose proportions.

Two Confusing Posts

And as far as friendly dogs: I have a 4" scar on my thigh I received as a child from a large, "She's only being friendly," dog when I inadvertently stepped on her foot. In my opinion, I have seen far too many village dog owners that are inconsiderate to non-animal aficionados.

Based upon my aforementioned experience any," friendly" dog that advances to someone, albeit a sniff or soliciting a pet is an invasion of personal space. That has occurred to me on many occasions as I frequent the squares.
I was commenting on the OP's inconsiderateness of some dog owners irregardless of whether it is poo, ****, or leashing.

I believe you are confused. No. You do not agree with the O.P. (that's me!).
You seem to agree with the entire comment which is quoted and contained "get rid of your dog." !!!

YOU stepped on a dog's foot and was bittten? THAT has nothing to do with whether or not a dog is friendly!
Uhhh . . . excuse me, but whose fault was that? You were a child? And where was your mother?

"Non-animal aficionados" ???

One suggestion I can make to you is to not go to any of the squares.
I do not believe there is any such thing as "personal space" in a public area as large as one of the squares.
You have the ability to walk where no one else is sitting, standing or walking. Your choice.

And in your last sentence you referred to my inconsiderateness? What did I do or say to deserve that?
And BTW, there is no such word as irregardless, and poo, ****, or leashing. ???

What I can't understand is dog owners who don't let their dog go on their yards, but it is ok to walk up and down the street and go on the neighbors yards.

devohna 06-10-2018 09:31 AM

I agree let your dog do his business in your yard if I wanted dog crap in my yard I would get a dog.. especially you with long leashes and yes YOUR dog did go after me when i came out of my garage with a broom and when I held it like a baseball bat you got upset... really???

Gerald 06-10-2018 09:40 AM

I agree. Keep off private property.
I have two dogs. They are not allowed to go on any ones property. Only my lawn and I pick up after them.
However I am sure people that walk their dog will still keep letting them go on other people’s lawn. Yes they mostly pick up . But pee still kills the lawn.

I love dogs. I have two. I take care of them and clean up after them. Having said that, I have found dog poop all too often on the golf courses lately. Why does anyone think that is OK?
