Who cares whether they are in a stroller or dressed up? Really - is that all you can come up with to comment on. I wouldn't be interested in "sharing" an ice cream cone but thats why we have stomach acid. Don't worry about it. Furthermore, it is found that pet owners have lower blood pressure and fewer stress hormones. A University of Miami study in 2011 shows that pets foster self-esteem, calmness, soothing and a feeling of acceptance. Gosh, I find it "endearing" to see these people walking their strollers, riding their carts etc.- their fondness for their pets is sweet AND IT MAKES THEM HAPPY. So whats wrong with that. I'm glad, in fact giddy, about pet owners being happy in TV.

At the squares, I think pet owners need to use packs, strollers or carry their pets so that accidents don't happen. If your beloved pet cannot be in one of those controlled situations, leave them at home for dog and human safety.

Why would you care if people dress up their dogs or dance with them? It doesn't hurt you.
P.S. I'll be the one at LSL tonight dancing with my little poodle, he will have a turtleneck and ear muffs on. ;)

I'm really not so much into costumes, but I do like my dogs dressed properly.

It is obvious to me and others who have nurtured their dogs into old age, that some of you have never cared for or owned an older or sick dog. Or a dog with disabilities or illness (like blindness, cancer, etc.) I highly recommend a stroller for these lovely dogs who can no longer navigate by themselves and are much better off getting out into the world of sounds and smells rather than being left at home alone much of the time.

You folks who don't care for dogs in strollers should think twice before you make such judgements and uncaring, uninformed comments.

I saw this cutie was dressed for Mardi Gras at Spanish Springs. Sure were a lot of pictures taken! Even loved the sun glasses under the mask.

Covering a dogs eyes and ears has to be uncomforable for the animal.
To me it's unnatural and unfair to the dog, it certainly doesn't enhance the dog's experience. I just don't get it.:shrug:

Duffysmom, I agree with you. I'm of the school of Let the Dog Be a Dog. I'd never make any fuss about it, but it seems a bit silly. I can't tell if the dogs care or not, but my inclination is not to fress a dog.

NOT ridiculing those who dress their dogs. I'm just stating my opinion.

Her former owners did the dye job before they gave her up.
