These people should try handstands where their dogs have to walk on their paws or at least bend down and touch the ground with their hands.

I was thinking of walking around on my hands but I thought I'd look funny with a 10 inch nose! :)

This is the first place we've ever lived where dogs were allowed in farmers' markets. Mine is tall enough to sniff a peach pie that you couldn't take home and wash. (But he doesn't go to farmers' markets.) If it's legal, fine, but curious that the health department allows it.

There were two small dogs at the Brownwood market that a man had on leashes that were barking constantly and pulling on their leashes. He would stop at a tent to look at something and both dogs would bark loudly and run around pulling at their leashes and wrapping them around the people that were standing there trying to buy their produce. The man appeared oblivious to the commotion that his dogs were causing. Seriously! Another lady had a dog on a leash and she stopped and let it pee on the pots of plants and flowers that one of the venders was selling. Again, she appeared to think this was perfectly ok. These are the owners that give all dog owners a bad image. What makes these people think that they are entitled to let their dogs do what ever the heck they feel like without regard to anyone around them! :loco:

You are absolutely right, there are a few dog owners that give a bad image.
Aren't we fortunate that most dog owners are responsible and respectful!!!

That woman would be dead meat had I been there.
It seems like all we've been hearing is about children and dogs in cars in this heat.
What is wrong with these people???

Dead meat, interesting statement, just what would have been done if you had been there except maybe getting yourself in trouble? :crap2:

Trust me . . . Other than some very terse words,
there would not have been any trouble
other than reducing that woman verbally,
into an insignificant spot on the map.

Some folks just don't get it. But how can you expect the dog to behave when the owner doesn't have a clue! Some folks shouldn't have kids or dogs!

Wish animal control could view the stupid humans. May a ticket or removal of their pet could put some common sence in their brain
