I agree with my friend from the North. Great story. LOL

...and Fumar, two posts in a row is absolutely unacceptable. You must make it three. I don't see you that often, you old dawg. Happy New Year.

You may want to consider not traveling in Europe if you have that much trouble eating with dogs. They are allowed "in" the restaurants in many countries and usually are served first! I LOVE that about Europe!

Won't ever go to Europe, dogs or no dogs but thanks for the heads up!

How about we vote with our wallet and do not patronize these restaurants?

well that explains why europe is bankrupt.

That's what I meant when I said vote with your feet, move on. A third option is tell your representative to repeal this legislation.

Vote with your feet!

I think they did!

Do the individuals that feel that not patronizing an eatery that allows dogs feel the same about seeing eye dogs and other ones that are performing a service for their owner? These dogs are no different that your everyday pets; they have fleas, smell everything and themselves smell when wet. Are you going to boycott those establishments too?

I loved Paris

It was so neat because in the restaurants the first thing they do is bring your dog a bowl of water. Then they take your drink order. I will never forget that wonderful experience. :coolsmiley:

Most of Europe is this way... In Germany, about the only place a dog is not welcome, is in a grocery store.

In general, Europeans are much more tolerant of their fellow man...whether it's their pets, smoking, drinking, whatever....
