The link you posted to the article explains what it is and how it came to be offered- what is it that you are really wanting to know... if it is teaching that will ring true to your inner self? Teaching that will resonate to your core beliefs?

There is a discussion group for A Course In Miracles which meets weekly at Coconut Cove on Thursdays at 1:00

The group is abbreviated in the Rec. News as "ACIM"

Anyone can visit at any meeting.

When I visited, I think they rotated leaders and the sections for group reading and discussion were whatever the leader had chosen.

It was not sequential.

If you chose to do the workbook, however, it would be best to do it sequentially with time for reflection.

I think your confusion stems from calling it "a course". I've never done ACIM, but in general try to live my life on a higher plane.

For me, it's not like Freshman English, more of a spiritual journey. It can't really be measured in time, it's an evolution that takes place over the course of a lifetime.

I'm so happy you brought up this topic, it made me realize how off course I have gotten in my life. It made me realize again how I got to where I am. I always believed in Simple Abundance, gratitude journals and the power of forgiveness.

When you're ready for it, you'll know it.

Thanks. I have let anger and bitterness take over way too much of my feelings. Not so much my thinking though as I learned early that unless you have a lot of power or the power of the press, negative thinking does not get you anywhere. So, I am very proactive.

Wonderful. I love seeing people find ways to better enjoy the life we have here in The Villages. You are right, negative thoughts will rob you of a great life. If your religious, cast out demons, if your atheist, cast out negativity. Same thing with the same results. It is as simple as thinking positive and you will be positive. :pray::beer3:
