I am moving to The Villages this summer and am going to have a rotator cuff repair which will involve follow up physical therapy. I will be having the surgery while covered under my employer's policy as my primary and Medicare part A as my secondary. My employer's insurance will no longer be my primary insurance as of June 30th, 2015. My physical therapy will be under Medicare Part B with a secondary policy. Is there a policy that covers my therapy until finished as Medicare has a $2,000 cap on therapy? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Try speaking with an independent Ins. Agent re: your questions as they're prepared with the answers you need. You can do it either before you move or wait til you move here. Best wishes......

Talk with the doctor who is doing the operation. I had the same thing done and did the therapy at home. It all depends on how serious the tear is. I think the doctor will give you the best advice to do it at home or a rehab.
