what it represents is the level of frustration that many Americans and it's allies are feeling right about now...abandoned by the self proclaimed smartest guy in every room...it's alright to be sure of yourself...it's not alright to rarely listen to people who are experts in their field and base your decisions on how you view the world and not what it's really like...

Dear Guest: a response that is appropriate and is civilized....thank you
I would express the avatar the OP posted as reflecting arrogance is the twin sister of ignorance. Obama is one of those who has enough education to get himself in trouble but not enough to get himself out...more to the point Americans. apparently Obama's philosophy of leading from behind isn't working well

Obama is a disappointment and has disgraced our country, along with Hilary, Pelosi, Reid, Weiner, etc. This is what the Democrat party has turned into.
Liberals have hijacked the Democrat party and now represents:
Socialism
Abortion
Gay marriage
Legalized drugs
Atheism
Anti-gun
Anti-Jew
Anti-Wall St
Anti-Bank
Anti-wealth
Anti-police
Anti-military
and even Anti-fast food
If you agree with these issues, then you are a liberal and should vote Democrat
If you do NOT agree with these issues then you had better vote against the Dems, regardless of celebrity status of the GOP candidate.

Wow, that was a tough one! That took a lot of thought, didn't it. And I bet you didn't even have to use GOOGLE. Yes, he was elected by the majority of those that turned out to vote. NOT the majority of registered voters, but the majority of those that voted (once, twice, three times, dead or alive). Just goes to show you how many stupid voters we have in America, because look at what he has done to damage our country. Of course, liberals are a disgruntled lot anyway, and enjoy seeing other folks work harder and suffer more.
In order for Obama to get elected, he was able to get more young people and minorities to turn out to vote than ever before. What does that tell you about the mindset of the voter. Folks looking for something from the gov. What did that one girl say in that video when asked why she was standing in line? "We are here waiting for some of that free money" Where's that money coming from? "From Obama's stash." Yep, these are America's astute thinkers that vote.
And YOU are one of them. Congratulations, if you voted for Obama, you fit right in there with the other losers. Because when Obama won, America lost.

It takes a lot of thought to blame Obama for everything. Boehner, McCarthy, and Ryan want no part of being Speaker of the House. Why, because they can't deal with Obama? No. They don't walk in lock step with far right. So, they are nothing, but liberal trolls. The definition of "liberal troll" is a moderate that wants to get things done.
As liberal trolls, they can't deal with their people in their own party. Who the hell thinks that the Freedom Caucus is going to accept anyone, but one of their own? They are nothing, but a bunch of noise makers. Governing is the farthest thing on their mind. The Republican Party really desires them.
Maybe the middle finger in the face was a hint Obama threw out there to Boehner, McCarthy, and Ryan to follow as a shot at their own party. Man, the republicans in the House really deserve it. Maybe the only losers are the ones trying to deal with the far right.

A few question for this poster
Are you a supporter of our current foreign policy ?
Do you think the economy is thriving ?
Do you think the current administration has even tried to have discussions or seek middle ground ?
OR, as you imply, are all our problems the fault of the Republican Party including the 6 years he had no opposition in either house ? Or, do you feel that all the bad has happened in the past 2 years ?

What do any of these questions have to do with Boehner, McCarthy, or Ryan not wanting or keeping the Speaker of the House position? They don't want the job, because they can't deal with Obama! That is what you are implying.
The Republicans gained control of the both Houses of Congress, and now that the job is easier, they don't want anything to do with it. Come on man. You know damn right well what the problem is in the House. The inflexible Tea Party.
There was a bipartisan immigration bill that passed the Senate, and never hit the floor on the House. That wasn't middle ground! Then, what do you call it?
Obama tried to get some even one Republican support for the ACA, which is a Republican think tank plan to avoid a Democratic (socialist) single payer plan. ACA was modeled after Romney Mass. plan. He tried for over a year, and couldn't get even one Republican vote. It wasn't for lack of trying.
Obama had NO opposition for his first 6 years. Didn't Boehner become Speaker of the House in 2010? Mitch McConnell filibustered just about everything until he became Senate majority leader in 2015. The Republicans have opposed just about everything Obama has done.
There is plenty of blame to go around for the current state in Washington. There are two things that are a constant on this board (1) everything is Obama's fault Republicans are blameless, and (2) the childish name calling directed at anyone that isn't a far right zealot.
One simple question: why don't Boehner,McCarthy, or Ryan want the Speaker of the House job? Boehner, because he is fed up dealing with people i his party. McCarthy, because he spoke the truth about the current Benghazi hearing, and he crucified for it by his own party. That leaves Ryan. Family before job. The problem with that is the job is so stressful, it would be impossible for anyone not to bring it home with them.

He actually mocked them in public on television...THAT was the end of the story for most. He basically told them he KNEW and stay out the way, and unlike other Presidents in the past, he did it publicly and loudly.
Then, if you want to start a thread on the internal strife with the Republicans, then do it, BUT nobody is going to accept you are your word. You need to give facts.
LASTLY on behalf of other posters, you are about the most insulting person on this forum. EVERY SINGLE post of yours blames everything on Republicans and then ends with how everything is blamed on Obama, and you dont even see that.

From US NEWS and World Report this past January..
"President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address was the lightest on issues concerning foreign policy and national security in years, even by his standards of disdain for the subjects. It reminds the electorate of the abject and complete scorn the president and his administration has for international affairs and foreign policy. The brief laundry list has already been repeated so rather than revisit this list, it is far more important to discuss what was not said and what was not achieved."
"There has not been a single success and no planning for how to keep America preeminent. If the Clinton years were a foreign policy disaster, the Obama years have been a foreign policy vacuum. Which is worse? This is a tough choice, but at least a disaster can be reversed."
Obama's Foreign Policy Has Left the World in a Mess - US News (http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/world-report/2015/01/30/obamas-foreign-policy-has-left-the-world-in-a-mess)

Actually, I think that 34 Democrats voted against this Obama Care in the house, and that a "bribe"...not a nice word....but the Senator from LA was posed to vote against it which would have killed it and suddenly, LA got a windfall from the WH of mucho money...not a bribe, but along with the Insurance Industry, they became big winners.
AS Thomas Jefferson said..."“great innovations should not be forced on a slender majority – or enacted without broad support.”
But President Obama has proven that he feels he knows better than anyone in the world on any subject.

You make me laugh. I don't read any left wing blogs. I have a brain in my head, and I use it. That is a great liability here. Instead of trying to read into everything, try as hard as it may be to read a post, and accept the fact that there is no hidden meaning. The Republicans here are the ones that always want to play the blame game.
I blame the Republicans for everything. If that is the case, please explain this sentence in my post that you referenced, "There is plenty of blame to go around for everyone in Washington." What is the definition of everyone? I thought that meant both parties, but what do I know, because I can't see.
Where did I say that Obama got any Republican support for the ACA? You just made that up, which you have a habit of doing.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act
I said he tried to get republican support. Read the Background, and Healthcare debate 2008-10 in the link above. I am not sure. Is Wikipedia a left wing blog?
Supply facts here. That is the last thing people want. All you in particular want to do is demean someone that doesn't agree with you. What did I make up in the post that you referenced? I pointed several things that you made up. What goes around comes around.

I always get accused of not supplying links, but others here don't have to. I check the senators from LA, I assume LA is Louisiana, the senator that you appear to be talking about is Mary Landrieu. The problem with your post is she was reelected in 2008 before Obama was president. How she was posed to vote against a bill that wasn't even up for a vote from a president that hadn't taken office yet? Well, that is a real nice trick.

Seek help. When a person insists that everyone else around him is wrong, then guess what? He is the one that is wrong. Kind of like the guy that says everyone else around him is crazy. He's the crazy one.
You are by yourself. You are the one that claims everyone is against you and your Obama messiah. Yet, you are the one that only contributes with slurs and complaints. Then you threaten to take your ball and go home. Well, guess what? We aren't playing ball, so we don't need your ball. Go away. Come back when you have something to contribute. If you really need attention that much, seek help. What you are doing to yourself is not healthy.

You're kidding, right? Do you really have that much trouble understanding things? You must not have been interested in following the fight over Obamacare when it was introduced into congress. The whole thing was handled underhanded and behind closed doors. Republicans were not even allowed to participate and therefore none of them voted for it. Even Pelosi admitted that she hadn't read it and stated that it needed to be voted on and then we could see what's in it.

Did you read the history of the ACA, that was included in a previous post? I know that you didn't by reading this post. You insist that people provide the links to a post, but when they do you don't read them.
In case you haven't noticed, and by your remakes you haven't, the Senate Republicans vote as a group on almost everything.
The person suggested that Mary Landrieu, Senator from Louisiana, ACA vote was bought by sending a lot of money to Louisiana. Well, a lot of money was sent to LA. It was Hurricane Katrina relief. So, sending disaster relief money buys you a vote! So, what vote was Obama looking for from Christie, when he sent disaster relief money to NJ for Sandy?

If you have something to say in defense of a comment or facts to show we are wrong, go ahead, and welcome. Instead of crying and slurring, why not provide some useful information and we won't even know that you are the "juvenile" poster. But, there are some knowledgeable posters in here and they are not easily fooled by careless talking points thrown in here. They know the difference between taking points and facts. So, do yourself a favor. Either use facts to back up your ridiculous statements, or go find a liberal blog that you can play in. Staffers on Capitol Hill were calling it the Louisiana Purchase.
On the eve of Saturday's showdown in the Senate over health-care reform, Democratic leaders still hadn't secured the support of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), one of the 60 votes needed to keep the legislation alive. The wavering lawmaker was offered a sweetener: at least $100 million in extra federal money for her home state.
And so it came to pass that Landrieu walked onto the Senate floor midafternoon Saturday to announce her aye vote -- and to trumpet the financial "fix" she had arranged for Louisiana. "I am not going to be defensive," she declared. "And it's not a $100 million fix. It's a $300 million fix."

"Do you remember the “Louisiana Purchase?” I don’t mean Thomas Jefferson’s acquisition of land from Napoleon, but rather Democrats’ acquisition of Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D., La.) support for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for gaining $200 million additional federal funds for Louisiana’s Medicaid program. Except that, due to a drafting error, the law ended up giving Louisiana $4.3 billion in extra Medicaid funds: more than twenty times the assigned amount. How this happened, and how Congress failed to fully fix it, is a microcosm of our new health law’s many flaws."

Did you read the history of the ACA, that was included in a previous post? I know that you didn't by reading this post. You insist that people provide the links to a post, but when they do you don't read them.
In case you haven't noticed, and by your remakes you haven't, the Senate Republicans vote as a group on almost everything.

I linked you to 2 seperate prices by news sources trusted.
Now please stop saying downright stupid stuff.
Read BOTH sides and stay away from the bias websites of both sides. And there is no denying, based on the things you say of what you read
I know it will be difficult, but speak to facts and stop making stuff up.
I almost spilled my coffee when I read your comment on Katrina; you obviously didn't have a clue and just rambled.
