Racism alive and well under Obama watch

I don't know about anybody else but the so called....by the way self serving....outcry in hollywood about the whiteness of the academy awards in little more than another race card being played.

And when the black elitists complain who are they howling to protest?
Themselves of course.

Why is there never any discussion about ....well maybe there were no blacks deserving?
Who said the talent had to be diversified for "fair" representation?
Who said the results are not right just because there are mostly white memebers in the academy....you know the same number there has been for years.

So why now all of a sudden is the race card being thrown?
Because some who think they should have been on the list and happen to be black and are not.

We have had this BS in our schools, ploice and fire departments.

What happened to if you can't or don't cut it whether you are black or white you just don't get it? Obama, Sharpton, Jackson types keeping the flame of racism fanned.

I for one am sick of these folks looking for treatment of some sort just because they are one color or another.

If they earn it and are entitled to it fine, the more the merrier the saying goes. But please let's cut the race promoting that sings the song of derving because they are black or not.

I don't go to the movies, so I have no idea. Of the main awards, best actor/actress, and best supporting actor/actress, could any of the parts been played by a blacks?

Rather than racism, isn't this more a product of the movies people like? You go to movies to be entertained. The last thing that you should have to be concerned about is the color of an actor's skin.

Does no one but me find it really funny and ironic that rich black millionaire actors are complaining about not having Affirmative Action in their awards? The awards are not voted on or given out by us. They pat each other on the backs for these awards. Would anyone lose anything if they did away with them....other than the dress designers?

Dear guest: I am just curious as to why you decided to start a new thread at 7:33 this AM regarding Obama and racism? I submitted a thread approx two hours earlier, this AM, before my medial appointment at 7:30AM, titled "I Saw What You Did Obama" addressing this exact topic? Why didn't you just address that thread with your opinion? The only reason I bring it up is that this is a continuing occurrence on TOTV with posters "for whatever reason or motivation" sending redundant threads out confusing posters as to what thread to address.

This whole Hollywood thing is real funny. Lets put this in perspective. Would you rather be a black millionaire or white and poor? Are Hollywood liberals that insecure that they must have their peers patting them on their backs? Sorry but black or white, I have no empathy for Hollywood and do not care what they think. I don't watch those stupid award shows, where they give each other trophies and say witty things.
