I need to replace my old crock pot and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for a slow cooker which had served them really well?

I really like my Rival slow cooker. I purchased it at Sam's Club, so I got a few extras with it. It is one of the larger slow cookers, so I can actually fit a big pot roast in it. It has a removable pot, so it can also be used as a serving dish. It came with an additional pot that is divided, which I use at parties to keep hot dips warm. And it also came with a carrying case, so I can take it to pot lucks. I didn't end up paying anymore than if I had bought it somewhere else, and I got the extra pot and carrying case free.

I will look into the Rival slow cookers. I think my first crock pot was a Rival. I have had a couple slow cookers over the years.

I have a large Corningware Electrics, its been great for at least ten years now. I love it because the pot lifts out which makes it so easy to wash, unlike the older ones. I bought it from QVC. :)

I have many slow cookers including the mother of them all "ALL CLAD;" however, I find I reach for my WEST BEND Versatility oval slow cooker more often than any other. I can put the pot on the stove first and then onto the slow cooker base. It is not expensive either.......just my favorite.

i bought the hamilton beach non-digital 6qt cooker at nearby kohls on sale for $29 [reg $39 i think]...came with the elastic thingy to use when transporting...price was further reduced by kohls extra bucks - if ya have any of those around. i love it for the amount of food it can cook! now i just need more recipes! i would have liked the digital cooker 'cause it will automatically switch to 'keep warm' at the end of the cooking cycle - maybe when this one breaks! lol

It's been a great cooker, especially having three different crocks...you can prepare small, medium or large meals. Got mine at Walmart, but not sure if they still have them. They are available at Amazon.

I also have the large Rival with a removable pot and carrying case. Like it very much.

Mine didn't come with the extra divided pot though. :cryin2:

Me too mzmom, I too have several slow cookers in different sizes but I would be lost w/o my West Bend that I can place on top of the stove to brown things then place on the heat to slow cook. Mine is ancient and I sure hope if dies I can find one to replace it.
