As a matter of fact her hair does look like his wig.

"Fox News host Bill O'Reilly apologized to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) for making a joke about her hair being a “James Brown wig,” calling his comment “dumb.”
“As I have said many times, I respect Congresswoman Maxine Waters for being sincere in her beliefs. I said that again today on 'Fox and Friends,' calling her 'old school,' " said O'Reilly in a statement.
“Unfortunately, I also made a jest about her hair, which was dumb. I apologize.”

Why do you hate James Brown and his hair so much?

Why do you hate James Brown and his hair so much?
I suppose I deserved that :)
I meant I am at a loss about the importance of someones hair that it would require posting on a political forum.
Of course, here I am now responding to another post on the same subject.
I guess it is success like this that keeps trolls trolling !!

I was trying to read on Cosmopolitan Politics how sexist O'Reilly's statement was, when this popup ad decided to clarify the issue:

Maxine Waters ( D-CA) has been listed as one of the most corrupt congressional leaders in Washington D.C. don't believe me goggle it. she follows in the footsteps of Charlie Rangel
I am not enamored with Bill O'Reilly for a number of reasons and as to this issue he ought to have been spanked. It was wrong and it was stupid because one always look bad making such senseless attacks.
I do agree with his politics and I am pleased that he is fearless in pushing forth his political commentary.
It causes one to pause and wonder why anyone would defend and support a politician known for their criminal acts? And why such politician reign free to continue their dishonest acts?
Personal Best Regards:

And yet you have no problem with Trump's hair or skin tone being ridiculed. Interesting, but hypocritical.
Your condescending attitude is not very credible. Next thing you will say is that you are a conservative...:a20:

Sounds like much ado about nothing. I wish all we had to worry about with Donald John Trump was how awful his hair and "tan" look.

I don't understand what the fuss is all about. He said something and then he apologized for it. Isn't that pretty much the end of the matter?
If anything this shows what a class act Bill O'Reilly is. A lot of people never would have apologized.

I am sure you don't want to worry about ending the support of the lazy in this country, the huge amounts of money we spend in other countries only to increase our national debt, stopping illegal immigrants from driving wages down and stealing jobs from those that are struggling in our country ( I know; you and your type don't want a job anyways, that would end your 17 year vacation), replacing Obammacare that has increased premiums by 80% in 3 years, none of those financial issues are of any worry to you...certainly not as important as hair and skin color!

Your comment might be right, but it made me think of Talladega Nights when Ricky Bobby said the guy could not be mad at Ricky Bobby's insult because he said "no offense". Lol

Every night the three late night hosts make jokes at the expense of the current administration and conservative views, while there is no one to police their political incorrectness or jam rags in their mouths.
But privately we still know the old jokes that are sometimes politically incorrect but still funny.
Punch lines?
We know a few.

James Brown had an excuse for being weird, his drug addiction. Waters has no excuse for being the dumbest, black clone of Nancy Pelosi on the left coast, other than being born stupid. I wonder if it was Pelosi's father or mother that fooled around.

Saying no offense, especially in a sarcastic way. immediately after an insult is a long way from a well thought out heartfelt apology.

I agree!
Ricky Bobby should be fired.
