"Fox News host Bill O'Reilly apologized to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) for making a joke about her hair being a “James Brown wig,” calling his comment “dumb.”

“As I have said many times, I respect Congresswoman Maxine Waters for being sincere in her beliefs. I said that again today on 'Fox and Friends,' calling her 'old school,' " said O'Reilly in a statement.

“Unfortunately, I also made a jest about her hair, which was dumb. I apologize.”

I simply posted this because it escapes me why one human being can even imagine such a hateful comment deserves to be posted ANYWHERE

I suppose I deserved that

I meant I am at a loss about the importance of someones hair that it would require posting on a political forum.

Of course, here I am now responding to another post on the same subject.

I guess it is success like this that keeps trolls trolling !!

I was thinking the same about you. But I've concluded that you just live with Lbud and Donny B.

I was trying to read on Cosmopolitan Politics how sexist O'Reilly's statement was, when this popup ad decided to clarify the issue:

Maxine Waters ( D-CA) has been listed as one of the most corrupt congressional leaders in Washington D.C. don't believe me goggle it. she follows in the footsteps of Charlie Rangel

I am not enamored with Bill O'Reilly for a number of reasons and as to this issue he ought to have been spanked. It was wrong and it was stupid because one always look bad making such senseless attacks.
I do agree with his politics and I am pleased that he is fearless in pushing forth his political commentary.

It causes one to pause and wonder why anyone would defend and support a politician known for their criminal acts? And why such politician reign free to continue their dishonest acts?

Personal Best Regards:

And yet you have no problem with Trump's hair or skin tone being ridiculed. Interesting, but hypocritical.

Your condescending attitude is not very credible. Next thing you will say is that you are a conservative...

Bill O'Reilly criticized after mocking congresswoman's 'James Brown wig' | Media | The Guardian

Sounds like much ado about nothing. I wish all we had to worry about with Donald John Trump was how awful his hair and "tan" look.

I don't understand what the fuss is all about. He said something and then he apologized for it. Isn't that pretty much the end of the matter?

If anything this shows what a class act Bill O'Reilly is. A lot of people never would have apologized.
