Murders in US very concentrated: 54% of US counties in 2014 had zero murders, 2% of counties have 51% of the murders - Crime Prevention Research CenterCrime Prevention Research Center (http://crimeresearch.org/2017/04/number-murders-county-54-us-counties-2014-zero-murders-69-1-murder/)
What do those 2% of the counties have in common?

"Even within the Counties with the murders, the murders are heavily Concentrated within those counties
When you look at individual counties with a high number of murders, you find large areas with few murders. Take Los Angeles County, with 526 murders in 2014, the most of any county in the US. The county has virtually no murders in the northwestern part of the county. There was only one murder each in Beverly Hills, Hawthorne, and Van Nuys. Clearly, different parts of the county face very different risks of murder."
"Conclusion
This study shows how murders in the United States are heavily concentrated in very small areas. Few appreciate how much of the US has no murders each year. Murder isn’t a nationwide problem. It’s a problem in a very small set of urban areas"

Any relationship to Sanctuary City/County status? Hmm
Any relationship to demographics? Who lives in those dangerous sections of counties? Who is the majority there? Who is doing the killing?
Notice how much red there is along the border? How dangerous the border counties are? Them and the blacks...responsible for 80% of the violence in this country. Take the blacks/Hispanics away and America is as safe and successful as the Northern European countries.
It's THEM...they are NOT us...and they are breeding us out.

Come on girls...explain this...why are 68% of murders occurring in 5% of the counties...and usually in a small area of those counties...where the colored people live.

What do those 2% of the counties have in common?
I would guess there are many things that they have in common, but I would wager that strict gun control is one of them.

Looking at the map of Colorado El Paso county stands out which is home to Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs is predominantly white, republican and has a large military population.
Your usual comments fail in this case!

No..it's NOT...Ft Carson is in that county and the demographics for that is:
"The racial makeup of the CDP was 62.8% White, 20.0% African American, 2.1% Asian, 1.7% Native American, 0.8% Pacific Islander, 7.9% from other races, and 3.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 15.4% of the population."
I'll BET you the reason that county is slightly red is the elevated black population around the post. It's the second most "diversified" country in Colorado.
Colorado is on average 81.3% White...but these numbers are all pretty old...2010...things have gotten worse.
