I would like to add my prayers for the families, friends and lovers of all those who died.

This is my day to remember the dad I never knew, and the step-dad I was too young to recall. And my second step-dad who instilled in me the drive to excel. All served in WWII. One died in the war. One died afterwards fulfilling a reserve requirement.

And to think of my mom who had to endure losing all three of them.
