I would like to add my prayers for the families, friends and lovers of all those who died.

This is my day to remember the dad I never knew, and the step-dad I was too young to recall. And my second step-dad who instilled in me the drive to excel. All served in WWII. One died in the war. One died afterwards fulfilling a reserve requirement.

And to think of my mom who had to endure losing all three of them.

Wow, that is some story, Mikeod. Such loss, but you and your mom must be so proud. What a blessing, after all that, to have had such a wonderful step-father and what had to be a very strong mother. Hope all your memories, even if told second, are all good ones.
